The Shadowscapes Tarot - Four of Pentacles

In today's tarot card interpretation, we have Four of Pentacles. What do we see? Off the bat, there are not many elements to notice, unlike other cards. The first thing we see is the color. It's green with hints of yellow and some hints of blue. There is also a bit of purple on the dragon. Upon closer inspection, we see a branch in the upper left part of the card and a dragon curling on a large coin. 2 more coins are resting against the base of the dragon's tail. These are smaller than the one the dragon holds onto. The 4th coin is maybe balanced on the top of the dragon's tail. This 4th coin is...

The Shadowscapes Tarot - Queen of Swords

Hello everyone! I thought I'd come here and talk about the Queen of Swords from the Shadowscapes tarot deck. I'm not even half-way done with these entries, and i have 2 more decks to try and interpret, as you all may remember. So, what do we see? When picking up this card, i see 2 main things: the main character, the Queen, and the dominant color, pale yellow. Let's talk about these in order, shall we? The Queen wears a long and flowy dress. There seems to be a gust of wind blowing her dress a little bit. The color of the dress is also pale yellow. She is a supernatural being because she has wings....

Angels by Marian Keyes

Hello, world! Today is the day I post another book review. A recent book I read is called Angels and is written by Marian Keyes. ... And let me tell you from the start that this title couldn't be more misleading. Click-bait much? I'm so unhappy with this book, I don't even know what to start with. Spoilers ahead? Yeah.. spoilers. The story is told from Maggie's point of view, making her the main character. She and her husband Garv live in Ireland, and despite being married for some time now, she's not as happy as she's like to be. One evening she discovers by accident that Garv has an affair, and...

Aaviri (2019) - Movie review and spoilers

Hello world! Today i want to talk about one of the silliest horror movies I could possibly watch. One of Anna's friends found it on Netflix. The movie s called Aaviri and this seems to mean Steam in Telugu. You can read more about it on its Wikipedia page. I hope you can remember i like watching movies in other languages than English, so this one looked promising. From the title of this entry, you already know this movie dates back to 2019. The image below is the theatrical release poster. Unfortunately, I can't speak too much about the movie without spoiling it. Therefore, there are spoilers right...

The Shadowscapes Tarot – 3 of cups

Hey everyone! Today it's time we look at another tarot card interpretation. This time, it's the Three of Cups from the now-familiar Shadowscapes Tarot deck. I don't know what else to say as an intro, so I'll jump into things. Lire ceci en francais, ici! What do we see? The first thing we see is the main color of the card, blue. There is another color or mix of 2 colors that stand out: green or green/yellow. The next things we see on this card are the 3 mermaids, each holding a cup. One or two of them appear to be pouring a liquid from their cups into the cup of the 3rd mermaid. We can only see...

Farmec's anti-aging cream

Last week [sometime in 2018, read more here] I bought an anti-aging cream. I already used one before, but I don't recall talking about it. Lire cette entrée en français, ici! Farmec is a well known Romanian company, and most of its products are used for beauty, however, there are some that are used for cleaning as well. From Wikipedia: Farmec means 'spell', 'charm', or 'grace' in Romanian. The company was founded at the end of the 19th century, and it's currently the largest manufacturer of cosmetics in Romania. I personally believe there is no one citizen in Romania who didn't use at least once...

Criminal Minds Korean drama - review, spoilers

Hello. I recently watched the Korean drama Criminal Minds . Most readers from the US will already know this drama to some extent. South Korea delighted the fans of police and detectives TV shows, with a remake of the American show by the same name. This remake aired in the second half of 2017. Personally, I tried watching the American version a few years back, but I couldn't get into it. I have no idea what put me off. I'll probably try again at some point in the future. The main stars of this Korean show are Son Hyun-Joo, Moon Chae-won, and Lee Joon-gi, You can see them in the poster below, at...

AISURU by Ioana Lee -reviewing and trashing

Hello people! Tonight, I'm going to trash a book by a Romanian author, Ioana Nitobe Lee - feel free to check out her website and her other books as well. No, i won't throw the book in the trash, for several reasons. i will (try to) share with you what i thought about the book while reading it. The book is called, in Romanian, Aisuru - this is actually a Japanese word, meaning "To Love." Now, let's not get all worked up. Ioana studied Japanese in Romania, got married to a Japanese man, and even lived in Japan for some years. She even taught Japanese in Romania, as a result, so we can't pick on her...
