Ciuc Radler Raspberry and Lemon "Beer" - Taste testing

Hello everyone! This is another taste testing ... entry! Today we're taste testing the Ciuc Radler Beer Raspberry and Lemon "beer." Here we have a beer with no alcohol content, but with raspberry and lemon flavor! DISCLAIMER/WARNING! please don't drink alcohol and drive. And please don't drink too much either! We went out searching for a small decoration that was supposed to be 50% off. The store did have the item, but not this promotion. They had a promotion of buy 3 themed items, pay just for 2 of them. On our way back, we stopped by the grocery store and i suddenly wanted some beer, but nothing...

Flying Swords of Dragon Gate - review

Hello again! I like movies with kung-fu fighting scenes, so no wonder I watched Flying Swords of Dragon Gate. You can also read more about this movie in the Wikipedia page i just linked. This is a movie from 2011 featuring Jet Li, as you can see in the poster below. Apparently, this movie is part of a trilogy, and I have yet to watch the other 2 movies. Poster for Flying Swords of Dragon Gate. not my image. I must say my notes on this movie are all over the place, but I will try my best to put my thoughts in order for this post. In any case, you'll walk into spoilers from this point onward. I'm...

Typewriter - (series on Netflix) opinions and review

Guys! Guys! You probably know of Bollywood, India's movie industry. Guys! Typewriter is an Indian show, made for Netflix and if you like ghosts, I URGE you right now to go watch it. Marathon style! I don't want to spoil you too much, so i'll try not to while talking about it. However, this webserie is really good, perfect to watch before or around Halloween, since there are ghosts involved. What can I say is that the spoilers are below the image and I'll try not to be too detailed, but I have to talk about it. I repeat myself because I finished watching it last night and I liked every second of...

Vanilla and sour cherry tea

Vanilla and sour cherry tea

This is a new taste testing entry. Yesterday I was in the mood for some tea. I had to buy some food so i went to the tea isle to see if i can find some tea I might be interested in drinking. And to my surprise they had a flavor I don't remember seeing before - sour cherry and vanilla! As I mentioned in my previous entry about teas in Romania, different aromas in a tea is not what Romanians have been drinking traditionally. Vanilla is an especially "fancy" flavor, and combined with sour cherries .. it's not something you'd often see people drinking here. The packaging is standard in appearance,...

Veritas Janis - beginner sewing machine review

Hello all! In 2018 I discovered I liked sewing and DIY projects. Sadly, some of my projects would have looked much better if they were done with a sewing machine, such as the pocket on my home pants from this entry. Or I would have finished this pillow case much faster. I pushed a little, and mother decided she'd get me one for Christmas. I searched online for one I would like to own and I found this site selling many brands and models of sewing machines, and many of them were on sale, including the one I chose, made by German manufacturer Veritas, model Janis. This sewing machine looks a lot like...

Green Apple and Melissa tea

If you remember some of my previous posts, you know that I like testing new stuff. This time I taste test another tea! It's with green apples and Melissa, and I was really excited to check it out! You can head over to this post to read more on tea in Romania, so I won't have to repeat things. You probably also remember I taste-tested another tea flavor, with sour cherries and vanilla. That one was really full of flavor. How is this new tea then? Scroll down! The packaging is standard for the teas we can find here. The aroma is yet again a rather fancy one, compared to the teas Romanians traditionally...

Feel the Beat (2020) Netflix

Hello all! This site was getting dry at the time when this post was originally made public. Here comes the new movie from Netflix, Feel the Beat, to the rescue! It was per chance that i found this movie, and i'm glad i did. Also, if you want to allow your kids (if you have them) to watch a movie, i think this was marked as for those over the age of 7 or 8. Growing up (not coming of age) is one of the themes of this Feel the Beat movie. Let's spoil the show a bit, shall we? Sofia Carson plays April, a chorus dancer on Broadway. She wants to land a major role in a production for which she auditions....

The Shadowscapes Tarot – Two of Swords

Hello people! Today we have another tarot card interpretation. Today we have the Two of Swords from the same Shadowscapes deck i own. This entry doesn't have snippets of the card, because they're broken on the official site. Instead, i used another image i found on there. If you want to see the card for yourself, please use the link above. What do we see? This card is rich as far as the imagery goes, including the colors used. I can't really say there is something that jumps at me first when I look at the card. I'll mention first the colors i see: purple, brown, yellow, dark gray, and some off-white....

Elsa Schiaparelli's Private Album

Hi all! Elsa Schiaparelli's Private Album is a "coffee table book." I don't really know what a "coffee table book" is, but i think this one counts as that. I don't have an actual coffee table and i don't have a proper bookshelf either. Most of my books are resting on the wide window sill. I have at least 2 windows I don't use because it's not practical, one in each room. I mentioned this book briefly on my blog, in the My Crafting Book Collection post. I learned about Elsa from the book in the lower-left corner in the picture above. I became intrigued by her creations because they were wild for...
