Hello, all!! Back in July 2015, we found this cream-cheese spread in the supermarket. Besides the well-known Philadelphia cream cheese, we didn't have many options in this department, so this was sort of a novelty. These days, we have many more to choose from, and i can't even recall if this specific product can still be found or not. This means, i sadly can't retake photos, so i have to use the old ones with the old marking on them. unless i edit them and make them look stolen. 😑 Remember my first food review? Well, it wasn't food, it was a delicious black tea.. and this thing right here is basically...

Ciuc Radler Raspberry and Lemon "Beer" - Taste testing

Hello everyone! This is another taste testing ... entry! Today we're taste testing the Ciuc Radler Beer Raspberry and Lemon "beer." Here we have a beer with no alcohol content, but with raspberry and lemon flavor! DISCLAIMER/WARNING! please don't drink alcohol and drive. And please don't drink too much either! We went out searching for a small decoration that was supposed to be 50% off. The store did have the item, but not this promotion. They had a promotion of buy 3 themed items, pay just for 2 of them. On our way back, we stopped by the grocery store and i suddenly wanted some beer, but nothing...

Vanilla and sour cherry tea

This is a new taste testing entry. Yesterday I was in the mood for some tea. I had to buy some food so i went to the tea isle to see if i can find some tea I might be interested in drinking. And to my surprise they had a flavor I don't remember seeing before - sour cherry and vanilla! As I mentioned in my previous entry about teas in Romania, different aromas in a tea is not what Romanians have been drinking traditionally. Vanilla is an especially "fancy" flavor, and combined with sour cherries .. it's not something you'd often see people drinking here. The packaging is standard in appearance,...

Veritas Janis - beginner sewing machine review

Hello all! In 2018 I discovered I liked sewing and DIY projects. Sadly, some of my projects would have looked much better if they were done with a sewing machine, such as the pocket on my home pants from this entry. Or I would have finished this pillow case much faster. I pushed a little, and mother decided she'd get me one for Christmas. I searched online for one I would like to own and I found this site selling many brands and models of sewing machines, and many of them were on sale, including the one I chose, made by German manufacturer Veritas, model Janis. This sewing machine looks a lot like...

Green Apple and Melissa tea

If you remember some of my previous posts, you know that I like testing new stuff. This time I taste test another tea! It's with green apples and Melissa, and I was really excited to check it out! You can head over to this post to read more on tea in Romania, so I won't have to repeat things. You probably also remember I taste-tested another tea flavor, with sour cherries and vanilla. That one was really full of flavor. How is this new tea then? Scroll down! The packaging is standard for the teas we can find here. The aroma is yet again a rather fancy one, compared to the teas Romanians traditionally...

Tasting Lord Nelson Lemon Black Tea

Hello Everyone! Long time no see, huh? It's time to drink tea again! This time, we'll be tasting the Lemon Black Tea by Lord Nelson. This is not a sponsored post, and it was my mother who gave me the tea. So that's what the box looks like. And on one of its sides, we can see the LIDL logo. I don't have LIDL next to my place, so I don't shop there, and I can't remember seeing this brand of tea in other supermarkets. I'll go ahead and assume it's a LIDL brand -feel free to correct me if i'm wrong. The tea is already packaged in 20 small pyramid bags - apparently, this is better for flavor diffusion....
